Abbaye de la Ferté
This site contains the Abbey de la Ferté (considered as the direct descendant of the Cistercian Abbey at Cîteaux). The church has disappeared, but the abbatial palace remains standing. Guided tour offered: massive staircase, sitting rooms with sculpted wood panelling, tapestries, paintings and period furnishings. Gallery featuring 19th-century scientific objects. Park.
